Welcome to my website!
I am an archaeologist of the Roman World, specialised in identity construction and the impact of the Past on present lives and politics. I work on Sardinia, Britain and the Mediterranean from a comparative perspective.
I am a Young Researchers scholar at the University for Foreigners of Siena. Since my PhD in Classics (University of Cambridge), I have been a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, site director, and commercial archaeologist.
I have just started PAAST, a project that looks at the archaeology of mobility of Roman-period Sardinia through a posthumanist feminist lens. You can read more about my previous project IDENTIS in this interview and in the European Commission web page.
